The word “trial” does not tell you what happens inside it.
These 40 records can assign a drug, compare two supports, observe care someone already receives, or watch treatment obtained elsewhere. This page puts those designs next to one another.
Direct-link review preview. Licensed-prescriber and California legal review are pending. This page is not in the public sitemap, carries no review badge and loads no analytics.
Sponsor-entered fields, not our verdict.
ClinicalTrials.gov does not review the safety, science or relevance of every listed study. “Randomized,” “quadruple masking” and “placebo comparator” below report what the sponsor entered. They do not prove the design worked, the masking held, the comparison was fair, or the study will help anyone.
This is not an eligibility screen or enrollment route. A listed study can still exclude you, pause locally or change after this snapshot. If you may act on suicidal thoughts, call or text 988, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency department.
Read the protocol before you read the promise.
Every count comes from the 40 open, coming or invitation-only California records already in the trial desk. Planned enrollment is a target—not the number enrolled, treated or accepted.
Four fields people routinely collapse into one.
Assignment
Whether the study assigns a drug, assigns only a behavioral component around existing care, or observes treatment.
Arm label
“Placebo,” “active” and “sham” are sponsor-entered arm types. We do not convert them into an efficacy judgment.
Masking
Who the record says is masked. The label does not show whether participants or staff correctly guessed the assignment.
Support
Whether support is typed as a behavioral intervention, named elsewhere in sponsor-entered text, or not named in the fields reviewed.
Compare the posted design—not the drug’s reputation.
Filters only hide rows already on this page. They stay in this browser tab, are not placed in the URL, are not saved and are not sent anywhere.
