Every county's front door, in one table.
The number each county publishes for behavioral health — read off that county's own page, dated, and linked back to it.
California runs mental health through counties, which is why "call your county" is such useless advice: 58 counties, 58 websites, and the number is rarely where you would look. 57 of the 58 publish a line we could verify on their own site. One does not, and its page says so rather than guessing — a wrong crisis number is worse than no number.
Wherever you are: 988 answers 24/7 and routes you locally, and the ten-day appointment right applies in every county in the state.
Free to republish with attribution — a county, a school district or a clinic can lift this table whole. Every row links to the official page it came from. If a number here is wrong, that is the most important correction you can send us, and it goes in the same day: the form reaches a person.
